Druids seem to be getting a respec out of this one.

hmmm, maybe time to try boomkin.

Idhrenniel went BOOmkin, now...when she started sure...she was doing 328dps. After solving the issue we realized she was using rank 1 spells. As soon as she fixed the issue, she was pumping out an easy 1000-1150 dps no problem. And she didn't even know what the hell she was doing. So yea, Boomkin spec ftw. Any Druid wondering what they wanna do for damage? Spec a Boomkin. The gear is so messed up right now cause of Spellpower you're going to put up Big Numbers.

And yea, Druids are still OP. so screw you guys *insert middle finger here*

Well don't forget. You DO have that nice recipe that she could use (unless she get nathrezem mindblade or something better, just make her farm the primals!) Thinger also has the really nice head piece that I gave to him so those 2 alone should add to her DPS. She just has to min/max her mp5 with her gear.

hmmm. Boomkin is sounding better already.

If you like semi big numbers, spamming instant casts, chain casting wrath, 2 huge aoe's, sexy dancing and a gang of conspicious looking trees, then boomkin may be the spec for you. I'm insane enough to hate that spec simply because I <3 my mediocre tanking and super fast kitty form.

Wrath would ocasionally crit for 2500, moonfire avraged out 950-1600 a cast, starfire would crit at 5500. I was in two blues in my kara resto/boomkin set. (in case you were wondering)

Makes me wonder how much damage Herodetus is doing now (I ran into him as Warran in Moonglade. I think the guards ate him after he tried something on me (and failed.))

Considering the damage you're doing now, I really wonder what numbers you would have put out if you had gone purely boomkin. I was reading here and there that boomkins were doing insane numbers of damage against...oh elemental shamans in all purples.

Yet another source of my early QQing over Drox.

However learning this might give me reason to start just PvPing with the Drood and do PvE content with the Shammy.

The problem with pvp as a boomkin is that they have little surivability unless you like form hopping and healing yourself (which screws up your dps). When I took Boomkin Id to the bg, I pumped out quite a bit of damage but also did alot of ground and graveyard humping. I prefer feral for pvp because I cant die unless I really !@#$ up or am dog piled. As a feral you have the survivabilty of a bear and the stuns requried in pvp combat. (stun opponet + heal= win ) You do have to chew on the opponet for a bit but droods can really endure long battles. Like, Id can out endure a Holy pally when it comes to dueling.
